Twin flame or soulmate: what is the difference?
In spiritual circles, twin flame and soulmate are often used interchangeably. Yet people mean different things by them.
Soulmate
A soulmate feels like coming home. The connection is warm, calm and natural. You can have several soulmates in your life, friendships included.
Twin flame
A twin flame is described as someone who feels like your mirror. The connection is intense, with high peaks and deep lows. According to the stories, a twin flame mostly teaches you about yourself, and the relationship is not always meant to last.

Intensity is not proof
